Executive Director of the International Peace Bureau Reiner Braun Visits SIIS

On September 5, 2024, Mr. Reiner Braun, the Executive Director of the International Peace Bureau visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies with Mr. Ingar Solty, Senior Fellow of Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung, Mr. Li Bo, Executive Director of the Shanghai Chunqiu Institute for Development and Strategic Studies, and Ms. Sun Wei, Director of the Beijing Representative Office of Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung.

Chairman of SIIS Academic Advisory Council Prof. Yang Jiemian met with the delegation and exchanged views on world peace movements, China-Europe relations, and people-to-people diplomacy. Dr. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hongkong & Macao Studies, Dr. Mao Ruipeng, Deputy Director of the Center for American Studies, and Dr. Zhao Long, Deputy Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies participated in the meeting.
