State Secretary of Germany Jennifer Morgan Visits SIIS

On July 25, 2024, Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of Academic Advisory Council of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), met with Ms. Jennifer Morgan, State Secretary and Special Envoy for International Climate Action at the Foreign Office of Germany. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics related to climate change and sustainable development.

Ms. Bianca Fluck, Climate Policy Officer, German Embassy in Beijing, and Mr. Lukas Meyer, Deputy Consul General, German Consulate General in Shanghai, accompanied Ms. Morgan on her visit. Other SIIS participants included: Dr. Yu Hongyyuan, Director of Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies; Dr. Zhu Yunjie, Assistant Research Fellow of Institute for Public Policy and Innovation Studies; Dr. Li Yanliang, Assistant Research Fellow of Institute for Foreign Policy Studies; and Ms. Sun Shasha from the Department of International Exchanges.
